You can write off the full sale price of your donation when we sell your car at auction. The minimum value is $500, and if your vehicle sells for more than $500 we’ll send you an IRS Tax Form that will allow you to write off the full amount.
SHOULD I USE THE KELLEY BLUE BOOK TO DETERMINE THE VALUE OF MY DONATION?
The IRS Regulations for donating a car changed on January 1, 2005. Before then you could use the Kelley Blue Book. Now you are allowed to write-off the full sale price, with a minimum deduction value of $500.
WHAT FORMS DO I USE WHEN I FILE MY TAXES?
If your donated car sells for more than $500 we’ll send you a Tax Form 1098c. If your vehicle does not sell for more than $500, you can use the Vehicle Donation Receipt to receive the $500 minimum deduction.

I think it’s awesome that anyone can be a part of helping out no matter what it is you are doing to help. Something that could be in your yard and forgot about that scrap prices wouldn’t even benefit enough to even look at it could help a Cause and help a family and that right there is a reason to do it.
