Support Feeding Military Families

Your unwanted vehicle can help feed a military family.

When you donate a car, truck, boat, RV, motorcycle, trailer, or other vehicle to Feeding Military Families, you help provide food, household essentials, holiday assistance, and emergency support to military families facing financial hardship.

Every vehicle donation helps ensure that those who serve our nation—and the families who support them—have access to the resources they need during difficult times.

Feeding Military Families

Feeding Military Families is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting active-duty military families, veterans, and military-connected households experiencing food insecurity and financial hardship.

Since its founding, Feeding Military Families has distributed more than 40 tons of food and essential supplies, provided thousands of toys to military children, and delivered critical assistance to military families throughout Southern California and the Southwest.

Your vehicle donation helps us continue this mission.

About Feeding Military Families

Feeding Military Families was created with a simple but powerful purpose: to ensure that no military family goes hungry while serving our nation.

Working with military commands, family readiness groups, community partners, businesses, service organizations, and volunteers, Feeding Military Families provides food distributions, emergency assistance, holiday support, and essential household items to military families in need.

Our programs have supported military communities connected to:

  • Camp Pendleton
  • Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms
  • Fort Irwin, California
  • Coast Guard Base Los Angeles/Long Beach
  • Numerous veterans groups throughout the Southern California region
  • Military families throughout Southern California and beyond

Mission

The mission of Feeding Military Families is to provide food, resources, and support to military families facing financial hardship while strengthening the connection between military communities and the civilians who wish to support them.

We believe that those who sacrifice for our nation should never have to wonder where their next meal will come from.

Vision

Our vision is a future where every military family has reliable access to nutritious food, essential household resources, and a supportive community committed to their well-being.

We strive to build stronger military communities, reduce food insecurity, and create lasting partnerships that improve the lives of service members and their families.

Why This Mission Matters

Many Americans are surprised to learn that food insecurity exists within the military.

Research conducted for the Department of Defense found that approximately one in four active-duty service members reported experiencing some level of food insecurity. Junior enlisted families, military families with children, and families facing frequent relocations, spouse unemployment, rising housing costs, or unexpected financial emergencies are often among the most vulnerable. Military food insecurity affects readiness, family stability, mental health, and overall quality of life.

Military families face challenges that most civilian families never encounter. Frequent relocations, deployments, disruptions in spouse employment, rising costs of living, and unexpected financial hardships can place tremendous strain on household budgets. Even families with steady military paychecks can find themselves struggling to make ends meet.

Feeding Military Families exists to help bridge that gap.

Our Impact

Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, businesses, and community partners, Feeding Military Families has:

  • Distributed more than 47 tons of food and essential supplies, with that total continuing to grow through our ongoing semi-annual food drives
  • Provided assistance to thousands of military families
  • Distributed thousands of holiday gifts and toys to military children
  • Delivered tens of thousands of dollars in direct support and emergency assistance
  • Mobilized thousands of volunteers in support of military families
  • Built partnerships with military commands, civic organizations, businesses, and community leaders

Our signature food drives, holiday programs, and community partnerships have become some of the largest military family support initiatives in the region.

Community Support in Action

Feeding Military Families brings together people from every part of the community.

Volunteers, veterans, active-duty service members, elected officials, businesses, schools, faith organizations, service clubs, and community groups work side-by-side to support military families in need.

Programs such as the Secretary’s Challenge, community food drives, holiday assistance campaigns, and special fundraising events help generate awareness and resources that directly benefit military families.

Every vehicle donation becomes part of that community effort.

How Your Vehicle Donation Helps

Please Donate Today

Your donated vehicle can do more than clear space in your driveway.

It can help put food on a family’s table.

It can help a military child receive holiday gifts.

It can help a service member focus on their mission instead of worrying about basic necessities at home.

Most importantly, it can remind military families that their community stands beside them.

Thank you for supporting Feeding Military Families and helping us continue our mission of serving those who serve.

Every vehicle donated helps feed military families and strengthen military communities.
